Geometric kirigami
Kirigami is kind of like origami except you get to make cuts, too! Check out Daniel Wyllie L. Rodrigues’s excellent kirigami geometric shapes. The top image is called Five Spheres of Persistence. Each of the five spheres consists of a cube, an octahedron and a rhombic dodecahedron on top of each other.
The bottom image is a rhombic dodecahedron with a papercraft sphere inside that Daniel made as a gift to his father.
